At Dunmore Barks, we bark with the dogs and cheer on the humans.
We're committed to enhancing the dog-human relationship through our unique programs rooted in canine education, enrichment, and adventure.
EDUCATION
Whether you prefer one-on-one lessons, wish to connect with fellow dog-lovers in a group setting, or need a seasoned trainer to do the heavy-lift on the training front; we've got something for every learner.
We're here to provide customized support for you and your canine companion - for life.
ENRICHMENT
Enrichment is a crucial component of canine care. It provides mental, physical, and social stimulation, prevents boredom, reduces stress, and encourages natural behaviors. An effective enrichment
regime can result in a happier, healthier dog with fewer behavioral problems.
Together, we'll unlock your dog's superpower and enhance the world around them.
ADVENTURE
Let's unleash a world of adventure and exploration for your pup! We offer on- and off-leash programs that get dogs out in nature to stimulate their minds and bodies, all while practicing manners and life skills.
Stick-fetching, grass-rolling, bug-chasing, creek-splashing...
your dog's next adventure awaits!

OUR SERVICES

Pup Meet-Ups
Pup Meet-Ups are structured socialization clinics designed to ensure that your puppy interacts with like-minded pals, fostering positive relationships and avoiding overwhelm. Learn about appropriate dog-dog play and how to advocate for your pup (and others) through this trainer-led mini session!
Available for pups 10 weeks - 6 months old.
30min: $20

Gym Sessions
While dog parks and playgroups are ideal for social and outgoing dogs, they can be stressful for those who are more reserved. A Private Gym Session for you and your pup offers playtime without pressure! Enjoy some one-on-one time with your pup without worry of inclement weather or negative dog-dog interactions. Each session includes the use of our toys and equipment in a well-lit, climate-controlled play space. Available for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and sociability types.
30min: $20
*Up to 3 dogs from the same household are permitted
Need a little guidance as you explore new exercise and enrichment opportunities for your pup?
A Trainer-Led Gym Session includes access to training, agility, and balance equipment and toys, as well as one-on-one time with a trainer. We will work alongside you and your dog during playtime to help create a fulfilling and memorable adventure or your dog!
30min: $35
Have some errands to run? Feeling like there's not enough time in the day for your dog's walk or playtime? Book a Drop-Off Gym Session with an experienced trainer! We'll prioritize age-appropriate fun and fulfillment, as well as light training topics. You're sure to have a tuckered out pup upon your return!
30min: $35 | 60min: $45

Structured Nature Walks
+ Field Trips
Busy day at work? Feeling under the weather? Looking for more than a standard dog walker to satisfy your dog's needs, but not interested in doggie daycare? We've got ya covered.
Allow our team to take your pup on a local nature walk! We'll get your dog's mind and body moving through structured training time and extended exploration, with a focus on leashwork and clear release cues.
Or, opt for a field trip for extra skill-building around distractions. We'll head to coffee shops, breweries, craft and hardware stores, parks, and more to build confidence and neutrality for a well-rounded pup. Field trips are an excellent way to support puppy socialization or to conduct training in real-world settings under the guidance of a pet professional.
Nature Walks and Field Trips include pick-up and drop-off from your home, and photo/video updates from the trip. Both are completed rain or shine.
45min: $45 | 60min: $55
*Timeframes include pick-up and drop-off

Dana S.
"I would recommend Rachel to anyone who is looking for someone to love their pet as her own. She makes sure that her clients are comfortable with her before taking the job."
Eric and Jillian S.
"Rachel is not only extremely professional and reliable, but she also made it a top priority to develop relationships with us and our dogs by getting to know their personalities and preferences, and spending extra time and energy to ensure they were comfortable. [Rachel] is an amazing resource for questions and techniques we can use with our two dogs that can be reactive when nervous."
Keely B.
"Rachel is trustworthy, dependable, and communicative: all qualities needed when working with our pets."
